WILSON WINS WEWORK
HK London on behalf of The Low Carbon Workplace, a JV between Columbia Threadneedle, Stanhope and The Carbon Trust, have completed a 50,000 sq ft letting to WeWork at 70 Wilson Street, EC2.
The deal which sees WeWork take the remaining space in the building concludes the successful redevelopment of 70 Wilson Street.
WeWork who took a twenty year lease join Microsoft who signed two floors for their new European Accelerator programs late last year and The Bio Agency who occupy the top two floors.
DOUBLE LETTING AT THE LOOM
Two new lettings have been agreed at The Loom, E1 totaling over 20,000 sq ft.
The Fairtrade Foundation, the UK based charity committed to improving trading conditions and empowering producers to combat poverty in the developing world has taken 6,400 sq ft. In addition, Hey Habito, an existing tenant, has signed new leases on 13,600 sq ft across four units. Hey Habito is a leading online mortgage broker and has grown considerably since moving into The Loom in October 2016.
The Loom is one of London’s few remaining Victorian wool warehouses and is multi-let to 36 tenants from a range of industries. Following the recent lettings the building is now 93% let.
