LARGEST SPACE TAKE SECURED WITHIN LONDON’S BEST NEW BUILDING
HK London are delighted to announce the acquisition of 90,000 sq ft at 8 Bishopsgate on behalf of CFC who will be relocating and expanding into a single HQ in 2025.
8 Bishopsgate, the landmark new 50-storey building from Mitsubishi Estate London and Stanhope PLC, is designed with sustainability in mind and comprises 560,000 sq ft of offices with 75,000 sq ft of amenity space. It also features The Lookout, a 50th floor public viewing gallery and event space. CFC will be the largest occupier of the building, joining the likes of TSB, King & Spalding, Proskauer Rose, Bentley Systems, Atrium and HFW.
Michael Grist, CFO at CFC, said: “We’re especially proud to join the UK’s first tower to speculatively target BREEAM Outstanding and one designed with sustainable materials which minimises its environmental impact.”
Tom Kemp, Co-Founding Partner at HK London said: “Our journey with CFC started with an acquisition of a small floor on Leadenhall Street. To now be acquiring the largest part of London’s best new office building to be delivered in 2023 is a huge accolade to CFC and all involved.”
HK London acted as commercial leasing advisor to CFC with Wedlake Bell advising on legals and Hollen as project managers. Knight Frank and BH2 acted for Mitsubishi Estate and Stanhope.
